The Morden Festival of the Arts is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization which provides a venue for student performance and adjudication in the following disciplines:
French and English Speech Arts
The Festival runs during the months of March and April each year. The Hilites Concert is the finale of the Festival and showcases performances which have beem recommended by the adjudicators of each discipline.
Registration for the Morden Festival of the Arts takes place in late January or early February. Piano and Strings registrations are done through the students' private music teachers. Registration forms are available at all local schools as well as the Morden Library and on this website. There is a small fee for each entry to help cover the cost of adjudicator fees.
Announcements regarding Festival dates, locations and registration deadlines will appear in the local school newsletters as well as in local newspapers and on this website.
A major goal of the Morden Festival of the Arts is to encourage high levels of participation. As part of this encouragement, we try to keep our entry fees as low as possible.
